Quick tip: replace bobbin thread with elastic thread to create stretchable ruffle 🤗 Wind the bobbin with elastic thread by hand, slightly tensting it; set the bobbin in the machine; for top thread use a regular thread that matches the fabric; put the garment right side up and slowly start straight stitching - you will see nice ruffles coming together! After an intensive week of pushing my sewing skills to another level with bridal gown making and sewing 11 hours a day (oh yes, that happened), I am in urgent need for quick and relaxing project 😌 And this @burda_style pattern will be just perfect for that 😎🤗 Also, I would like to take a second and note my scissors - I got them a few weeks ago and they are the BEST budget-friendly (I paid 9 eur for mine) tailor scissors I ever tried! At first my teacher got them, then later after trying them half of my classmates got them as well - these scissors are game changers and makes cutting so easy and precise!
